Is Ohia The Strongest Wood On Earth

Phenomenology of the reality show

Six years ago, when he arrived in Italy, had very few people know what it was.
His debut came on television, if not quietly, without fanfare for sure: it was a Thursday evening in mid-September, and on Channel 5 when he left the symbol of Big Brother viewers were simply looking at many of the other. The first episode came barely five million hits.
The program then grew with time, a little 'thanks to the daily strip, a little' thanks to the cast, ten boys next door who never would have imagined much success outside the home. The final of Big Brother came to score the 40% share and finally launched a television empyrean kind destined for great fortunes: the reality show.
Certainly since then many things have changed. Like every other category of programs, including the reality has taken away a little at a time very unpredictable with respect to the intentions of its authors.
Maybe it's just details, but reveal much.
Think about it. The first Big Brother was presented as a sort of sociological experiment: the promotion of the transmission emphasized that the ten contestants were locked in a cramped apartment, spied on by the cameras, with shared bathrooms, no contact with the outside without being able to write, no telephones, no TV, not a damn thing. The vocabulary was that of privation, fighting against yourself for not losing my mind in a situation so lifeless. Is winking at the viewer: from, look at your share of these ten abandoned us, we see if they can not kill.
The very title of the program, from the disturbing influences of literature (1984 by George Orwell), as well as the symbol (dark, dark, vaguely menacing) converge to the idea of \u200b\u200ba program "serious" investigation and culture, not a certain variety.
And then there were the conductors. Two showmen? No, two reporters in the wood Daria Bignardi study of Rome and the jovial Marco Liorni front door red.
Six years later, the only element of continuity with the past is just him, the affable Liorni. Everything around him has instead undergone a vigorous revolution: the house has become a super equipped loft, the boys wink to the cameras, the leader is a woman of the show, the letters and graphics indulge in variety.
has been lost completely the initial size of the game. Orwell does not remember any more. And for kids who learn at school, 1984 is only this: the novel inspired by the transmission of the Marcuzzi.
